Pilates + Yoga = PiYo

Superstar fitness trainer Chalene Johnson has done it again!  From the creator of Turbofire, TurboJam and Chalene Extreme comes a new program called PiYo.  It stands for pilates and yoga.  As I was listening to Chalene speak to us this past weekend in Las Vegas about her new program, she said she always felt like she didn't belong in a yoga class.  That is EXACTLY how I feel!!!!  Like her, I don't like slow programs where you hold moves for a long period of time.  I'm also not flexible AT ALL but know I need to work on this and because of how inflexible I am I feel awkward in yoga class!!!!  And that's why I think this program is going to be key for a lot of people (including myself) - runners, movers, shakers, people with tight muscles that need some functional flexibility that will HELP overall running and athletic performance.
